Let’s continue the Technique Tuesday series with a look at squats. Love them or hate them, they are a FANTASTIC way to not only strengthen the legs and glutes, but can also add a bit of cardio as they use the largest muscles in your body to move you around.
This is a series of videos where each video shows different modifications to help you find a comfortable fit for your body - remember, all bodies are different, which means our movements will look and feel different, too!
Squats can be fun - yes they can! But they can also be challenging, especially when the knees, hips, back and ankles have an injury or weakness. The key is to start slowly, and never force. Squats mimic everyday life - we have to sit in chairs, we have to often lift or bend or squat down to reach things in our houses. If we look at it this way - squats are an important part of healthy movement
