Sunday Success Setup - March Break

Welcome to Sunday - it's a great time to plan your week, so let's get to it!

How would you like your week to go? Before you look at things you need to do, think about how you want to feel this week and write it down. Do you want to feel fulfilled? Passionate? Organized? Balanced? When organizing your days now, you can think of this intention and plan how to achieve it.

From here, what do you need to do for your personal wellness? Medical appointments, exercise, meals - all of this is essential to your well-being and needs to be prioritized, just as you prioritize your family's needs, work meetings, and everything else that demands your attention.

It's March Break for many, and also us here at HealthGirl. This week, we are not teaching in-person or online live classes.

That being said, there are new videos in the AnyTime Studio, our unlimited online on-demand subscription, which also has access to our live online content when we return from the break on March 18, 2024.

If you're not much of an online person (and we don't blame you one bit!), why not plan to take advantage of the March weather and try to get active outdoors if it is safe? Around here, almost all of the snow has melted, and many walking paths are waiting to be traversed. It sounds like a lovely excuse to get together with friends and go for a walk, if you ask us!

What else can you plan for your well-being this week? Remember, it is the small things done often that help us over time. Those small things, like taking the stairs, eating one more vegetable or drinking one more glass of water, add up to a healthier and happier life.

We have two nights of classes that will suit just about everyone, with intermediate power yoga followed by all-levels Yin yoga on Tuesday nights, and we have all-levels fitness followed by beginner Hatha conditioning on Thursday nights.

One giant, gruelling workout once a week might be good, but a few smaller, perhaps less punishing bouts of activity spread throughout the week can be even more beneficial (and all of our classes aim to give alternatives so that almost anyone can participate safely and enjoyably).

Just as it's the many small moments in life that add up to overall happiness more than infrequent, bigger events, the small moments that we add to our health each day build up over time to create astonishing results when we look back at where we started.

You've got it in you. It is the small stones that when shifted over time move the mountain.

Start with a few small stones today and celebrate every one of them!
