Thank You for an Incredible Grand Opening!

What an incredible day! I’m still processing and sorting through all of the amazing memories made at our grand opening and open house on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
We were so busy that we didn’t have time to do our demos or giveaway draws - I’ll do those live tomorrow (Monday, September 30) so no one misses out.
I’m so grateful to everyone who popped by, shared hugs, smiles, kind words and support for the little space we’ve worked so hard to create for our community.
A huge thanks to Mayor Tony Fraser, Deputy Mayor Theresa Bergeron, and Councillor Gary Annable for coming out to say hello, chat, cut the ribbon, present the certificate and support our fresh start. Thank you also to Chamber President Chris Power for coming out and having a lovely chat.
And a massive thank you to all of the students, past, present and future, who joined in the fun - it was really cool to see our “digital” students meet our “in-person” students and make new connections.
Thank you for the cards, kind thoughts, gifts, and wonderful company - I have a lot of thank you cards to write!
When people asked me how I thought yesterday would go, I honestly thought Brad and I would be alone for most of the day with a few people sporadically popping by for a few seconds to say hi. I am so happy that people felt comfortable enough to stay and chat and enjoy the studio.
I think we should do something like this more often to just say hello and share space, what do you think?
